In the main event, Aspen Ladd (9-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC) moves up to featherweight just two weeks after a hard weight cut caused her bantamweight fight against Macy Chiasson to be canceled. She takes on Norma Dumont (6-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC). Ladd is a -145 favorite at Tipico; the comeback on Dumont is +115. But despite fairly close betting odds, Ladd has a blowout in the picks from our 13 editors, writers, radio hosts and videographers at 12-1.
In the co-feature, former heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski (31-20 MMA, 20-14 UFC) takes on Carlos Felipe (11-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC). Felipe is a slight favorite at -120, but it’s Arlovski with the smallest possible picks edge at 7-6.
Also on the main card, promotional newcomer Erick Gonzalez (14-5 MMA, 0-0 UFC) meets Jim Miller (32-16 MMA, 21-15 UFC) at lightweight. Miller is a -240 favorite and a near unanimous pick at 12-1.
Manon Fiorot (7-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC) is tied for the biggest favorite on the main card at -260 in her women’s flyweight bout against Mayra Bueno Silva (7-1-1 MMA, 2-1-1 UFC). She’s also one of our two unanimous picks at 13-0.
And to open the main card, Julian Marquez (9-2 MMA, 3-1 UFC), like Fiorot, is a -260 favorite at middleweight against Jordan Wright (12-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC), and he’s our other unanimous pick.
In the MMA Junkie reader consensus picks, Ladd (62 percent), Arlovski (63 percent), Miller (74 percent), Fiorot (82 percent) and Marquez (70 percent) are the choices.
